General Welfare

Diseases and parasitic infections aren’t the only effects of not wearing shoes. Fungus and bacterial infections are very common in Africa as one scratch on your foot can let in harmful chemicals, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. People, especially children in Africa walk miles a day to get water for their families or go to school. For them, scratches on their feet are minor hindrances to supporting their families. Our nonprofit isn’t only about supplying to people to prevent painful, deadly diseases, but making sure everyone can stay on their feet, and protect the general welfare of the population from the tiniest cuts growing into monumental problems.
